PREBLE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Eaton, OH

The master plan for Preble County Historical Society takes into consideration the historic preservation of an intact farmstead, the future needs of the Society, and the natural features of the 223-acre site. The architects and landscape architects of Beckwith Chapman Associates held programming sessions with PCHS committees to achieve an understanding of current activities and projected space requirements for the future. The final master plan consists of three construction phases, beginning with the construction of a new 17,500 sq ft Exhibition/Education Center. New vehicular and pedestrian systems help to preserve the character of the farmstead and support the many community activities of the Society.
