AVENUE STREETSCAPE

This streetscape beautification project of Mitchell Avenue/Este Avenue from the
Interstate 75 interchange to Este Creek provides extensive planting within the
street right of way. Over 10,000 sq ft of concrete were removed to create a
landscaped median at the Spring Grove Avenue intersections. Plants were
carefully selected to withstand wind, heat, drought and roadway salt spray. A
neighborhood entrance including signage has been created at both West Mitchell
Avenue and Chickering Avenue.
