The 28,000 sq ft Student Athlete Development Center provides Miami University
Intercollegiate Athletes with a competitive, state-of-the art training
facility. Situated on a wooded hillside, the building is in close proximity to
Millett Hall and overlooks the Yager Stadium Complex. A new pedestrian
concourse, designed by Beckwith Chapman Associates’ landscape architects,
connects the SADC with the stadium below.
The central lobby opens to a skylit Rotunda, decorative terrazzo flooring, and
an adjoining outdoor terrace. The Rotunda is flanked by the academic wing to
the west and the strength and conditioning wing to the east.
