The Oxford Church of God is a new 15,000 sq ft structure, including a 600-seat
worship and fellowship space. The primary need for large open space, as well as
economic considerations, led to the incorporation of pre-engineered metal
building components in the design.
The client's concern about future, adjacent development and plans for building
expansion determined that windows would be kept to a minimum. Light monitors
were introduced in place of windows, using translucent panels to provide ample
interior daylighting.
