PIONEER
FARM MUSEUM
Hueston Woods State Park, OH
The project entailed the documentation and relocation of a heavy timber bank
barn to Hueston Woods’ Pioneer Farm Museum, after the original barn had been
destroyed by fire. Timber harvested from the State Park prior to the creation
of Action Lake, was milled for replacement doors, siding and window louvers as
part of the reconstruction. New limestone barn foundations were constructed
with stone salvaged from the original barn.
